We built BantayDNS because the tools that exist today were not built for the threats Filipinos face online. Generic DNS filters miss locally targeted scams, fake government portals, and phishing websites designed specifically for the Philippine market.
BantayDNS is a DNS protection service that filters threats in real time, before your browser even connects. No software to install, works on any device or router, and takes less than 2 minutes to set up.
How It Works
BantayDNS operates at the DNS level. Every time your device tries to visit a website, the request passes through our servers first. If the domain is flagged as malicious, it gets blocked before the page even loads.

- Point your device or router to your unique DNS-over-HTTPS endpoint
- Browse safely. Scams, phishing, malware, and unwanted content are filtered automatically
Each profile gets its own encrypted DoH URL. You can create multiple profiles with different rules for different devices or family members.
What It Blocks
BantayDNS combines multiple threat sources to catch what generic filters miss:
- Scam and phishing websites identified through Google Web Risk and our own curated threat database
- Malware and exploit domains detected and blocked in real time
- Newly registered domains that are statistically more likely to be used for attacks
- Content categories like gambling, adult content, dating sites, and ads/trackers
We maintain Philippine-focused blocklists that target the specific scams and fake portals aimed at Filipinos. These are threats that international DNS providers simply don't prioritize.
Parental Controls
BantayDNS includes a full suite of parental controls that work at the network level:
- SafeSearch enforcement on Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo
- YouTube Restricted Mode across all devices on the network
- App and game blocking at the DNS level
- Recreation time schedules to set allowed internet hours per day
Because it operates at DNS, these controls cannot be bypassed by switching browsers or apps. One configuration covers every device on the network.
Crowdsourced Threat Reporting
We believe security works better when it is shared. BantayDNS includes a crowdsourced reporting system where users can report scam domains they encounter. Verified reports are added to the global blocklist, protecting everyone.
You can also look up any domain in our public threat database before clicking a suspicious link.

BantayDNS is free to start. The free tier includes all features with up to 500,000 DNS queries per month. No credit card required.
For unlimited queries, paid plans start at P100/month or P1,000/year. We accept GCash, Maya, bank transfers, and credit/debit cards.
